Fantastic food and atmosphere. The staff are excellent and very efficient. 10 out of 10

I was expecting a great meal after visiting the Rhiwbina restaurant in July 2008. I expected the same level of service when I visited again in Dec 2008, however was very dissapointed. Upon arriving for our reservation, my partner and I waited in the bar area for over one hour. At this time 5 other parties were served drinks, and taken to their tables. We were constantly assured that we would be seated next, but this simply was not the case. I found the service level to be outright disgraceful. I would not reccommend this company of restaurants to any of my colleagues, and have no intention of returning again due to the complete lact of service provided by the staff. I hope that those who chose to eat here, will bear in mind that the front-of-house management is in a total disarray and that they will be in for a very long, unpleasant and arduous affair, for what should be an otherwise enjoyable occaasion. Truly Unaccepatable.

now under new management.went back to eat after not going there for over a year. fantastic sunday lunch,best in the area.pleasant and helpfull staff.will be back.Rumney needed a pub like this for a long time,
